Homeschool Co-Op Teacher - Middle School Faith Academy Conord Concord, NC Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Child behavior management English Math Education Working with middle schoolers Working with students Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development. This position involves planning and implementing effective lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey. The Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and promoting their overall well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach subjects including math, English/language arts, science, social studies, and Bible lessons using adaptive teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages positive behavior management. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. Assist with weekly setup/teardown of classroom. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere. Foster relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth. Experience A degree in Education or relevant teaching experience. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while supporting individual student needs. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for fostering inclusive classrooms is essential. Experience in developing lesson plans tailored to various learning styles will be considered an asset. Schedule Mon-Thu 8:30am to 2:30pm.
