Job Description

Durham Academy (DA) is accepting applications for a Middle School Social Studies Teacher as a member of the Social Studies Department . Duties include teaching four sections of Social Studies for students in grades 5 through 8, and serving as an advisor to a group of up to 12 students. Candidates should have a bachelor s degree. An advanced degree or other commensurate experience is preferred, as is coaching a team sport. This full-time position will be for the 2026-27 school year.
