Living Faith Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission-minded teacher to join our growing Christian school community. We are looking for an educator who enjoys building meaningful relationships with students, guiding them through the unique academic, spiritual, and personal growth that takes place during the middle school years. As a Classical/Charlotte Mason school, we are committed to cultivating wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers challenge students to think critically, communicate thoughtfully, and engage deeply with great ideas while fostering an atmosphere of curiosity, respect, and wonder. We value close partnerships with families and seek educators who are eager to invest in the lives of students both inside and outside the classroom. What You'll Do Lead a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom in our upper school (grades 7-9) Inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning Teach with confidence using our established curriculum and detailed lesson plans, ensuring a cohesive educational experience while minimizing after-hours lesson preparation. Build meaningful relationships with students and families Use living books, narration, discussion, and rich ideas to guide learning Foster godly character and healthy classroom habits Collaborate with fellow teachers in a supportive school community Help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; education or related field (public school licensing is not required) Teaching experience preferred in a private school, cooperative or similiar setting Familiarity with Charlotte Mason and/or Classical education a plus Active Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Active involvement in a local evangelical church Desire to support the mission and
Statement of Faith of Living Faith Christian Academy Position Details Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Approximately 28-30 classroom hours per week Approximately 36 instructional weeks per year Starting salary: $28,000-$30,000 Tuition discounts available for teachers' children Physical Requirements This position requires regular movement throughout a three-story school building. Teachers must be comfortable using stairs throughout the day, as the building does not have an elevator. Position requires standing a large part of the day. Why Join Living Faith Christian Academy?
