Immediately Job Description High School CTE Teacher for Nash County Public Schools in Nash County, NC A High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher teaches high school students Career and Technical Education courses, adapting teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests. They establish clear objectives for all lessons that guide the learning process toward the achievement of State curriculum goals. They create a classroom environment that engages and supports all students in learning using instructional materials and media. They explain and demonstrate safety practices in the classroom. While evaluating student learning, they maintain appropriate expectations for all students, provide appropriate feedback, and revise instruction accordingly. They coordinate with other basic education teachers and departments to guide the development of the basic education program. They effectively communicate with students, parents, and the community.
