This dual-role position combines rigorous academic instruction in 7th and 8th grade science — aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSOC) — with facilitation of our Production and Exchange program, a cornerstone of authentic Montessori middle school education. The ideal candidate is both scientifically literate and entrepreneurially minded, capable of guiding young adolescents through hands-on scientific inquiry while also mentoring them as they design, manage, and operate real student-run microeconomies.
