Full Job Description About Us:
Oak Forest Childcare is a financially self supporting outreach ministry of Oak Forest United Methodist Church. Our goal is to offer quality, faith-based childcare at an affordable cost for children of various ages. The program provides experiences to help elementary and middle school aged children develop physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. This goal is achieved by offering age-appropriate activities guided by experienced, caring staff. We are a multi-faceted childcare facility, offering the following: Elementary Age After School Program, Middle School After School Program, Elementary Age Summer Camp, Middle School Summer Camp, and Half-Day Preschool. Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible Teachers to support our summer program and after school program. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, can adapt quickly to new environments, and are comfortable stepping into a variety of classroom settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow lesson plans and activity schedules provided by the lead teacher or program coordinator Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students Maintain routines and behavior expectation Background check required. Strong communication and classroom management skills Dependable, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision • Must be 18 Years Old • NC Drivers License Required with a clean driving record.
Pay:
From $9.00 per hour
