The teacher must hold and maintain a valid NE (7-12 or K-12) teaching certificate and be endorsed in at least one teaching-content area; 1-3 years of successful teaching at the high school level. The teacher will be responsible for communicating with students daily on email, answering questions about course content, the learning management system used and communicate with co-workers in problem solving. The teacher should possess proficient computer/technology skills. The teacher will also be responsible for reaching out to students and parents to follow-up on their engagement in completing coursework as well as other duties assigned by the principal. Effective record keeping is an essential skill as well as the ability to assist in creating and providing teacher professional development.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 1 year to 3 years successful teaching experience Hold/Maintain valid NE K-12 or 7-12 certificate, endorsed in the teaching area. Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
