Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in middle school English and/or Social Studies to students requiring competency recovery. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support individual learning needs. Collaborate with the summer program team to track student participation and success. Create a supportive, engaging, and structured learning environment. Provide timely feedback to students and maintain communication with program coordinators and families as needed. Maintain accurate attendance and progress data for reporting and documentation.
Qualifications:
Valid NH Teaching Certification in Middle School English and/or Social Studies (or equivalent in other states). Experience working with middle school students in a differentiated or competency-based learning environment. Strong instructional and classroom management skills. Ability to motivate and support students in a short-term, accelerated learning model. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for assessment and instruction is a plus.
