DESCRIPTION POSITION
Teacher Leader (2)
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
: Serves as a school support team member that assists with the following: Student Arrival (Finger scanning, transitioning etc.) Breakfast Support Student Dismissal (Bus duty, transitioning, etc.) Extended Day Student Support (Detention, tutoring support, APEX Credit Recovery, etc.) Team Building, Culture and Climate Act as role model of professional excellence in all areas (ex. Attendance, professional behavior, student advocacy, teaching and learning).
QUALIFICATIONS
Be an appointed LEAP Academy University Charter School teacher. Excellent record of attendance and punctuality. Minimum two years of successful experience in building-level school teaching. Demonstrated the leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers and parents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to physically move freely and rapidly throughout the school setting and provide educational leadership. Ability to observe student/teacher activities and monitor safety and security.
REPORTS TO
School Building Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Ten month contracted position. Must report to work on all student calendar days (200).
EVALUATION
: Annually according to state statute and rule and Board policy.
SALARY GRADE/RANGE
: Stipend of $5,000.00 annually
TIME:
7:15 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
