After-School Enrichment Instructor (Part-Time)

Parker Anderson Enrichment NJ is hiring enthusiastic, dependable instructors to lead fun, structured after-school classes for elementary students in Hoboken and Jersey City. Our programs are designed to help students build confidence, explore new interests, and stay engaged after school—all in a positive, well-managed environment. This is a very part-time, consistent weekly opportunity, ideal for educators, coaches, creatives, and professionals with reliable weekday afternoon availability.

• ### What You Might Teach We are currently hiring instructors for programs such as: Sports & Movement (SportsWorld, basketball, soccer) Art & Creative Programs Music (piano, guitar, singing) Spanish Immersion Drama / Acting Public Speaking

LEGO / STEM

Programs Yoga & Mindfulness Have a unique skill or class idea? We're always open to new programs.

• ### What the Role Looks Like Lead small-group classes for elementary students (K-5) Create a fun, structured, and positive classroom environment Follow provided curriculum (with room to bring your personality and style) Keep students engaged, active, and participating Communicate clearly with program staff

Schedule & Details Pay:

$50+ per class (based on program and experience)

Schedule:

1-3 afternoons per week

Class Length:

~1 hour

Total On-Site Time:

~1 hour 20 minutes (includes early arrival)

Locations:

Hoboken & Jersey City partner schools Most classes run 3:00-4:00 PM, with arrival around 2:30 PM Some schools begin closer to 3:30 PM Please apply only if you are consistently available between 2:30-5:00 PM at least 1-2 days per week, factoring in commute time.

• ### What We're Looking For Experience working with children (schools, camps, coaching, etc.) Strong group management and classroom presence Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable leading a group and adapting to different energy levels Positive, engaging, and confident
• ### Requirements Ability to obtain NJDOE fingerprint clearance / background check (We guide you through the process—it's straightforward)
