Middle School Spanish Teacher

Job Overview Notre Dame High School, Gr. 7-12, a college-preparatory school in Elmira, NY, is seeking a highly motivated, goal-driven individual to fill the Spanish Teacher position for Middle School Spanish and Spanish I. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher with a low student-to-teacher ratio. Our school is seeking a dynamic and engaging teacher to develop students' skills, knowledge, and abilities in comprehending, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. Additionally, this teacher would provide a collaborative space for students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the native cultures of the countries where Spanish is the primary means of communication. Retired teachers are encouraged to apply. A bachelor's or master's degree in teaching or a related field, along with past teaching experience, is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and the ability to communicate through written, spoken, and visual media in both English and Spanish. Salary and benefits are negotiable based on degree and experience.

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
