Job Description

The Ulster BOCES Academic Summer School Program is seeking creative and energetic Middle and High School Teachers to engage students from July 7 through August 19, 2026.
COMPENSATION
:
High School:
$3,000 per session (Up to two 2-hour sessions taught each day)
Middle School:
$3,000 per session (Up to two 2-hour sessions taught each day) This is a non-benefited position.
WORK SCHEDULE
: The program runs 4 days per week between July 7 and August 19, 2026, Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Full Commitment to the entirety of the program is necessary including Regents days. Possible locations include New Paltz, Kingston and Rondout school districts.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
: Openings in Math, ELA, Humanities, Science, STEAM, Social Studies, and Special Ed are anticipated.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: Appropriate NYS Certification and fingerprinting required. To be legally employed as a Teacher, you must possess a valid NYS Teacher Certificate. (For more information visit: http://eservices.nysed.gov/teach/certhelp/CertRequirementHelp.do.)
