$25-$30/hour, based on experience Location:
East Village Neighborhood, New York, NY Position Details Have an interest in teaching and technology? Want to teach students about computers and coding in a fun, creative environment? We would love to add you to our team! BSD Education is seeking a motivated, energetic individual to deliver technology, computational thinking, and coding programs that empower kids with 21st-century skills. The Technology Instructor will be responsible for leading classes and ensuring the overall success of these programs. Candidates must be self-learners who are good communicators, fun-loving, and positive role models. The Technology Instructor does not need to provide or develop their own curriculum. All educational resources will be provided by BSD Education. Class Schedule & Details Dates:
Tuesday, June 23 - Thursday, August 6, 2026 Time:
9:00-4:30pm ET during the above dates Approximate number of students: 60-80 Location:
Cooper Square, New York, NY 10003 Paid training, orientation, and grading Responsibilities Teach coding, technology, and computational thinking enrichment courses Engage students and foster a lively classroom Manage correspondence with students Communicate with administration and management regarding student attendance, progress, and grading Review & follow program policies and procedures Attend training sessions as needed Prepare before classes by reviewing lesson plans, and be ready to teach when class starts Provide feedback, documentation, and quality assurance work for classes Complete report cards with comments Must be willing to travel to the Berkshires with the students July 26 - August 1, 2026 Qualifications Teaching or experience working with teenagers Able to communicate effectively with school staff and team members Reliable, organized, adaptable, and positive Interested in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AI; experience is a plus, but not required Able to travel to teaching location in Cooper Square, New York, NY The Best Candidates Are excited and passionate about making an impact in the lives of kids Are lifelong learners who love problem solving Encourage students to try new things and explore ideas Are attentive listeners, articulate, and good at asking questions Additional We cover the costs of your Pre-Employment Screening Requirements:
