Job Description

Location:
Multiple school locations (varies by assignment)
Schedule:
1-4 hours per week, after school
Program Length:
Approximately 10 weeks
Start Date:
Rolling start dates throughout the school year
Compensation:
$50+ per instructional hour (flexible based on experience and assignment) Inspire Students Through Movement and Skill Development Concorde Education is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead engaging Competitive Jump Rope programs for elementary and middle school students. This is an opportunity to help students develop coordination, athleticism, confidence, teamwork, and perseverance through the exciting sport of jump rope. Students may learn individual tricks, speed jumping, freestyle routines, double dutch fundamentals, partner activities, and performance-based skills in a fun and supportive environment. Possible Topics Include Basic and advanced jump rope techniques Speed jumping Freestyle routines Double Dutch fundamentals Partner and team jump rope activities Competition preparation Fitness and conditioning Rhythm, timing, and coordination Performance and showcase skills Goal setting and sportsmanship Responsibilities Lead engaging, age-appropriate jump rope instruction Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Encourage student participation and skill development Adapt lessons for varying skill levels Maintain a safe and organized program space Communicate professionally with school staff and Concorde Education Qualifications Minimum of 60 college credits preferred Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or working with youth Competitive jump rope, Double Dutch, fitness, gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, physical education, or related experience strongly preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Who This Role Is Great For Current or former competitive jump rope athletes Double Dutch coaches and performers Physical education teachers Fitness instructors and personal trainers Cheerleading or gymnastics coaches Dance instructors College students studying education, kinesiology, or sports management Anyone passionate about helping students build confidence through movement and athletics Join Concorde Education and help students discover the fun, fitness, and excitement of competitive jump rope through hands-on learning and active participation.
