What we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced middle school language arts teacher who is passionate about inspiring young readers and writers and is looking to become a long-term member of a collaborative, student-centered school community. While this position begins with two afternoons per week, there is potential to expand your teaching role over time.

Role Description This part-time Language Arts Teacher role is an on-site position located in Cincinnati, OH. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, and critical thinking for middle school students. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials and activities, facilitating classroom discussions, providing constructive feedback on student work, and assessing student progress. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, support diverse learning styles, communicate regularly with families as needed, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications Experience working with Middle School students with an understanding of their unique developmental needs Strong creative teaching skills in Language Arts Ability to design engaging lessons and connect with students Effective Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues. Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learning styles and abilities.
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
