Gen Ed Teacher Responsibilities:

Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth. Providing differentiated instruction and adapting teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Assessing and monitoring student progress, documenting achievements, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborating with other teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure effective communication and coordination of services. Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, materials, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement. Monitoring and addressing students' social-emotional development, behavior management, and self-regulation skills.

Gen Ed Teacher Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certificate or credential

Licensure:

Preferred license to least preferred 1. 5 Year Professional License in subject/grade group 2. Resident Educator License in subject/grade 3. Alternative Resident Educator License (Must have degree in subject they want to do (Math, Science, etc.) 4. Educator Unlimited Sub License a. Major in education related field Effective communication and people skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
