Certificated Personnel Job Posting Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period of April 23•29, 2026, or until filled. Gifted Teacher

Effective Dates:

2026-27 school year This teacher will teach the 6th and 7th grade Discover program (social studies) which is for students who are identified as gifted (Superior Cognitive)

Licensure Requirement:

Candidate must possess by the start of the school year an Ohio teaching license that certifiies them in either Middle Childhood grades 4-9 social studies or Elementary grades 1 to 8 and must also meet one of the following criteria: Posses a Gifted Intervention Specialist (GIS) endorsement Willing to begin GIS endorsement coursework in the 2026-2027 school year with the ultimate goal of obtaining the GIS endorsement within two years.
