Job Description

Job Summary Shiloh Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English and/or Science Teacher. This position can be full-time or part-time. The candidate must hold a four-year degree (not necessarily in education), feel called to teach, and be deeply committed to our mission. We believe in providing a Christ-centered education that will inspire students to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty in all areas of study. They should desire to educate young learners in a classical Christian environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to foster curiosity, develop foundational skills, and nurture the spiritual and academic growth of children at the grammar level. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching, strong communication skills, and a commitment to creating a Christ-centered learning environment for students. Duties Help create an environment where we are of one purpose, partnering with parents, teaching students what is true, good, and beautiful Design and deliver God-centered lessons in all subjects Adhere to the Shiloh Christian Academy employee handbook policies and procedures Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management techniques, discipling rather than disciplining Assess student performance regularly through hands-on and weekly assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents Collaborate with co-workers on lesson planning and school activities Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
