In addition, teach vocational skills related to various career paths, including health, hospitality, education, and business, preparing students for both college and the workforce. Design and implement engaging lessons, labs, and activities that integrate practical life skills with industry-specific knowledge. The teacher fosters a positive and supportive classroom environment, provides hands-on learning experiences, and encourages students to apply knowledge to real-world scenarios. Additionally, teacher will assess student progress, collaborate with other educators, and stay updated on curriculum changes to ensure a comprehensive, relevant education. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution. You must hold a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in CTE for Family and Consumer Sciences. This may involve completing an approved teacher preparation program. Preferred Qualifications For CTE positions, a combination of professional experience in the field (e.g., in hospitality, nutrition, child development, or personal finance) is preferred.
