Job Description

We are seeking a high school science teacher with a passion for teaching 11th grade Lab Science and creating engaging learning opportunities, (Environmental Science, Anatomy, Zoology, Chemistry, or other qualified lab science). TSAS is a free public charter school with small class sizes that prioritizes innovation and teacher autonomy. Applicants should be enthusiastic about experimentation, student-centered instruction, project-based learning, building strong relationships, and developing equitable success strategies to serve all students. Applicants should be able to provide evidence via the interview process of: Strong subject area knowledge Experience developing, and/or willingness to develop pedagogical skill and relational classroom management strategies Growth mindset that positions students as the center of the work of teaching and learning and desires to close achievement gaps for every student via public education.
