That's the daily invitation for Moravian Academy's new Middle School Inquiry, ResearchInnovation Teacher. At our Historic Downtown Campus, a UNESCO-designated landmark in the heart of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, sixth, seventh, and eighth-graders are preparing not just for high school, but for a world that doesn't yet fully exist. They'll navigate artificial intelligence, evaluate information in an era of misinformation, tackle real community challenges, and present their findings to authentic audiences. You'll be the teacher who makes all of that possible. You won't simply teach research skills; you'll orchestrate transformation. You'll design and lead S.C.O.R.E., our signature middle school capstone program, guiding students from a spark of curiosity through proposal development, community mentorship, and public presentation. You'll partner with faculty across disciplines to cultivate an inquiry-centered culture that extends well beyond your classroom walls. This is more than a teaching position. It's a strategic appointment, one born directly from our vision for future-focused education. You'll help students ask better questions, think critically about technology, and develop the leadership habits that will define their lives. You'll also join a faculty community that takes seriously the central question at the heart of our mission: Who am I, and who can I become? Moravian Academy is shaping what learning looks like for tomorrow. You'll help design it, and you'll do it alongside some of the most curious, driven young people you'll ever meet. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Education, Library Science, Humanities, Educational Technology, or a related field Demonstrated experience teaching middle school students through inquiry-based, project-based, or interdisciplinary learning approaches Knowledge of information literacy frameworks, digital citizenship, and responsible technology integration Confidence teaching the ethical implications of AI and emerging digital technologies Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Advanced degree (M.Ed., M.L.I.S., M.A., or equivalent) preferred Experience leading student capstone, service-learning, or community impact programs preferred Independent school or mission-driven school experience a plus Ready to help shape how the next generation thinks, questions, and leads? Upload your resume, cover letter, and three references to this employment portal and join a faculty where curiosity is the curriculum.
