Job Description
Greensburg Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School is seeking a Middle School/Secondary Language Arts/English Teacher. The teacher should know of pedagogy including the principles, theories, methods, techniques, and strategies of middle school/secondary level Language Arts/English. The candidate should be able to plan, organize, develop, and conduct a comprehensive teaching and instruction Language Arts/English program. The candidate should provide appropriate and effective learning experiences for students with a variety of learning needs, differentiate for student's cognitive abilities, and effectively assess Language Arts/English content aligned with state standards. The candidate should be passionate, consistent with classroom expectations, provide academic rigor, provide a motivating and stimulating learning environment for all students, and be a steward in the Catholic faith. We are looking for an individual who fosters collaboration, seeks professional development, works with the Language Arts/English team, and continuously grows and reflects on their profession and instructional practices.
