Overview
JOB SUMMARY
Position duties include: instructing and providing remediation in Integrated Language Arts and Math. The instructor will oversee student progress, address individual needs, and coordinate activities to create a stimulating and caring classroom environment. The successful candidate will be an educator who is highly skilled and experienced in a broad range of elementary education instruction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the progress of all students in your groups, address their individual needs, and coordinate activities to create a stimulating and caring classroom environment.
Planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
Instruct, monitor, and evaluate students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for educational activities.
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures in accordance with the school student handbook.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary protocols.
Encourage and monitor individual students' progress and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
Maintain accurate, complete records of students' progress and development.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Effectively prepare and adapt the classroom for varied classroom activities.
Assign and evaluate classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
Maintain rapport and communication with parents, administration, and staff
QUALIFICATIONS
