Salary Send applications or inquiries to: hr@stignatius.church Job Description This full-time teaching position beginning with the 2026-2027 school year is responsible for a middle school homeroom and teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade English/Language Arts. The teacher will plan and implement lessons based on the prescribed curriculum while helping students better understand and grow in their Catholic faith. He/she will lead daily homeroom activities and serve as primary contact for families in the assigned homeroom. The teacher will monitor students' development, provide feedback to students and parents on a regular basis and issue report cards. He/she must collaborate with the team of middle-school teachers and actively participate in faculty meetings and school events (including some outside of normal school hours). The teacher must ensure compliance with school policies and professional standards, and engage in professional growth opportunities. A bachelors degree and up-to-date clearances are required. Teaching certificate strongly preferred.
