Part-Time Arise & Shine Christian Academy is a Christ-centered hybrid homeschool program opening for the 2026-2027 school year in Buckingham, Florida. We view this work as both education and ministry, partnering closely with families to create a calm, connected learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Our hybrid model combines:

2 days on campus 2 guided homeschool days small multi-age classrooms integrated unit studies strong academics rooted in Christian faith and community We are looking for a warm, engaging middle school teacher for our 6th-8th grade class who values meaningful relationships, creative learning, and collaboration with homeschooling families. Responsibilities Teach and guide students through core academic subjects using an integrated, discussion-based unit study approach Develop creative, engaging lessons and activities that expand on our unit study curriculum using classroom resources and technology such as TVs, whiteboards, games, projects, outdoor spaces, and occasional kitchen-based activities Lead a small multi-age middle school classroom Facilitate engaging discussions, projects, and collaborative learning experiences Support students academically, socially, and spiritually Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independence Communicate regularly with families Collaborate with staff and leadership Help create a peaceful, organized, relationship-centered classroom environment Qualifications Teaching experience preferred Homeschool, hybrid, private school, co-op, or multi-age classroom experience is a plus Strong classroom leadership and communication skills Ability to connect well with middle school students Organized, flexible, and self-motivated Alignment with the Christian mission and values of Arise & Shine Christian Academy What We Offer Small class sizes Supportive, family-centered culture Creative and collaborative environment Opportunity to help shape a growing hybrid program from the beginning Intentional 5-weeks-on, 1-week-off calendar rhythm throughout much of the year Approximately 31 instructional weeks aligned with our hybrid model Part-time schedule with built-in flexibility and family balance

Pay:
