Compensation Base Pay:
$50,000 This is only an estimate based on the lowest number of years of service and degrees earned. Actual pay is dependent on the highest degree earned, number of years of relevant experience, and supplements included in the contract. Job Description You can view the full job posting here. Houston County Middle School in Erin, TN, is a close-knit campus of roughly 275 students. HCMS seeks a dedicated Physical Education teacher to deliver state-approved P.E. curriculum for grades 6-8. In this role, you will plan, organize, and implement structured lessons that develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, and health knowledge; employ a variety of instructional methods and technology to engage and differentiate for diverse learners; supervise and maintain P.E. facilities and equipment; enforce safety and emergency procedures; and collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to promote lifelong wellness and sportsmanship. Working in a small, rural school environment, you'll form close relationships with students and families, benefit from smaller class sizes that allow for personalized instruction, and enjoy a supportive community on campus and across the county where your contributions are visible and valued.
