Master Teacher I Pathways Learning Academy - 1.9 Knoxville, TN Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications School experience Teaching experience with young children Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Master Teacher 1, Master Teacher 2, and Master Teacher 3 are current students in the Master Teacher Certification Program. To become a part of our Master Teacher 1 group, each candidate must go through a careful selection process with their District Managers and are nominated to participate in the Master Teacher Certification Program. During the 9-Month program Master Teacher candidates' complete coursework on their own time from home and meet weekly deadlines as they learn, grow, and develop into a coach, mentor, and role model for their peers. Master Teacher candidates earn a pay increase upon completion of each level of the program.
Job Responsibilities:
Leadership! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards. Educate! Acts as a learning accelerator by supporting the development of existing teachers to improve program quality within the school. Team Player! Serve as a resource in educational programming, developmentally appropriate practice, and behavior guidance and help school management train new hires. Communicate! Practices respectful communication and maintain productive relationships with their peers and families they serve. Grow! Participate in a two-week practicum in a peer's classroom
Job Requirements:
Must hold a CURRENT Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA), Associate or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or equivalent. Performance Review score of successful or higher. At least 2 years of early childhood experience Works daily in an Infant, Toddler, Two's, Early Preschool, Preschool, or Pre-K classroom Employed with Learning Care Group for at least 90 days prior to the program start date.
