Job Description

Are you a college student or someone that needs part-time hours? Reduce your stress by lining up meaningful employment now! We are currently hiring staff for the 2025-26 school year and summer. SHADES of Development, a leading after school and summer program provider in East Tennessee, is looking for dependable, energetic, and caring individuals who want experience working with children in a group setting. Candidates would be responsible for leading STEM, creative arts, and healthy lifestyles activities with PreK or K-5th grade students. Sound good? SHADES might just be the right fit for you!
School Year Hours:
PreK:
12:30-6:00PM Monday
  • Friday K-5th
Grade:
2:00-6:00PM Monday•
Friday Substitutes:
for candidates that are available for full shifts hours at least 2 days a week
Summer Hours:
PreK and K-5th
Grade:
7:00AM-12:30PM or 12:30-6:00PM Monday
  • Friday Support Staff:
    7:00-10:00AM or 3:00-6:00PM Monday
  • Friday Substitutes:
    for candidates that are available for full shifts hours at least 2 days a week Great hours, no nights or weekends, and lots of FUN! $15.00
  • 20.
25 per hour based on experience and education. Join the SHADES Afterschool and Summer Camp team working with students in an interactive, adventure learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Leading activities with children Lesson planning Behavior guidance and supervision Snack prep, supervision and clean up Program set up and clean up Apply Now! Must be 18 and high school graduate to apply Our vision is to provide Safe, Healthy, Adventures that Develop Essential Skills for lifelong learning and success for all children in need of out-of-school time services.
Pay:
$15.00
