Description/Notes:

Supervise students assigned to DAEP for disciplinary reasons. Maintain a highly structured and orderly environment. Work under the general supervision of the principal. Coordinate retrieving and returning students' work from teachers at the middle school and high school. Coaching duties are to be determined and may include abination of middle and high school sports.

Possible coaching assignments include:

Head Boys Basketball, Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, Assistant Football, Assistant Track.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for assignment Special Knowledge/Skills
• Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational,munication, and interpersonal skills Experience
• One year teaching experience preferred
• Experience working with students with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred
