Primary Lead Guide

Montessori Teacher Responsibilities:

Montessori Certification is required Must have a warm and supportive attitude toward working with children and their families Conduct focused observations of children, develop action plans Ensure the safety and well-being of the children Deliver established Montessori scope and sequence Responsible for parent communication Will deliver parent education, reports, and conferences Have excellent oral and written communication skills Participate in all staff meetings and training At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred High School Diploma/GED required. College ECE coursework is highly preferred CPR and First Aid Certification Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role Must be physically able to perform the job of a teacher of young children Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Montessori classroom
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Experience working with children ages 3-6 years
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Montessori Teacher Certification for 3-6 years old.
