We are committed to nurturing the whole child through compassionate care and educational excellence. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated After-school Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children after school hours. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, encourage positive behavior, and support children's social and emotional development. Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Coordinate with parents and staff to communicate children's progress and any concerns Assist with homework help, tutoring, or enrichment activities tailored to individual needs Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently Skills Strong classroom management skills to foster a respectful and disciplined environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including early childhood education or daycare Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Ability to engage children through creative activities such as theater, sports coaching, or arts & crafts Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children First aid certification or willingness to obtain it prior to start date Familiarity with special education needs and Christian counseling is a plus Passion for working with students of all backgrounds and developmental stages Join us in making a positive impact on young lives!
