Middle School ELA Teacher El Paso Country Day School El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time | Contract $13 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications School experience Bachelor's degree Curriculum implementation Working with middle schoolers Positive school culture development Full Job Description Key responsibilities include: Building a classroom culture in which students love learning; Teaching students through an inquiry-based, rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity and enables all students to thrive; Developing strong relationships with parents and students to create investment in school culture and academics; Driving academic outcomes by analyzing data, studying student work, and implementing high leverage instructional moves to ensure dramatic gains for all students; and Training with colleagues and school leaders to receive targeted, in-the-moment feedback on instruction, as well as unparalleled support and professional development. Willingness to learn about new technologies Successful candidates should also have the following experiences and characteristics: Have lead teaching experience; Hold a Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of academic achievement and extracurricular leadership; Possess a GPA of cumulative 3.0 or higher(transcripts required) and/or equivalent of 3 years of teaching experience.
