Job Overview We are seeking energetic and compassionate Part-Time Before and After School Staff to join our team! In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment for children during before-school and after-school hours. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help promote positive behavior, support childhood development, and ensure children have a fun, enriching experience while under your care. Responsibilities Supervise children in a dynamic, engaging manner during before-school and after-school programs Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical activity Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper classroom management and behavior management techniques Assist with homework support, tutoring, or educational activities as needed Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure children's well-being Follow safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Support children with special needs or behavioral challenges by applying inclusive teaching strategies Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Experience managing classroom behavior and implementing behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Familiarity with working with children with special needs or in inclusive environments is a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of military families!
