Technology Teacher

Memorial Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and mission-minded Technology Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate is a committed Christian educator who integrates biblical values into the classroom while providing engaging, hands-on technology instruction for students in elementary, middle school, and high school. This position focuses on teaching technology standards through project-based learning and student-created products while helping students develop creativity, digital citizenship, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Teach technology courses and skills to elementary, middle school, and high school students Develop engaging lessons focused on technology standards and real-world application Guide students in creating digital products and projects Teach coding and introductory computer science concepts Support and oversee the high school esports program Manage and update the school website and Facebook page Serve as Yearbook Sponsor and oversee yearbook production Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment Integrate biblical worldview principles into instruction and student interactions Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives and student success Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff Qualifications Strong Christian faith and commitment to Christian education Bachelor's degree in Education, Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Teaching experience preferred Ability to engage students across multiple grade levels Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with coding, educational technology tools, and digital media platforms preferred Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and extracurricular activities Familiarity with website and social media management preferred Desired Characteristics Energetic and engaging educator Creative and innovative thinker Strong classroom management skills Team-oriented with a servant's heart Passion for mentoring and discipling students Professional, dependable, and flexible
