Middle School Math Teacher

Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative instructional strategies and learning technology tools. Create engaging classroom environments that promote active participation, collaboration, and curiosity about mathematical concepts. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, standardized tests, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback to support growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives to enhance educational outcomes. Offer tutoring and mentoring support to students needing additional help or enrichment in math Excited and willing to also teach some elective offerings, serve in leadership and be part of the strong mission and vision of the school Anchored in the Christian faith to be able to teach from a solid, Christian worldview with personal involvement in a local, Christian church. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Proven classroom management skills with experience teaching middle school students in diverse settings. Strong knowledge of math disciplines Familiarity with instructional design principles and the integration of learning technology into lessons. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and collaborate effectively with staff and parents. Commitment to ongoing professional development through research activities or higher education teaching opportunities.
