Middle School/High School Social Studies Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching advanced Social Studies courses and a strong commitment to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
• Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Provide mentorship and support to students
• Manage classroom behavior effectively
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
• Administer and grade assessments to evaluate student progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in History or related field; Master's degree is a plus
• Teaching certification in Social Studies
• AP certified is a plus
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques
• Strong research skills for enhancing educational content
• Knowledge of education administration and curriculum development
