EDUCATION
: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university Three years classroom teaching experience in a public or accredited private school
CERTIFICATION
: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate by the State Board for Educator Certification High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY
: Serve as the campus mentor for information, learning, and technology integration, acting as a master teacher and role model to enhance student achievement. Coordinate services in the Library Learning Commons Area, fostering literacy, inquiry, better communication, critical thinking, creativity, application, and imagination that are essential to student growth. Provide resources to prepare students for success in a complex digital landscape while supporting teachers and administrators in integrating technology and data coaching into the instructional framework.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates with teachers to implement innovative strategies for enhanced student engagement and achievement. 2. Develops real-world skills by offering guidance and training to students and staff in technology and information resources. 3. Models teaching strategies and empowers teachers to independently and consistently integrate purposeful technology with all contents to improve student learning outcomes. 4. Implements innovative technology resources to enhance and provide TEKS-based instruction for students, including the Technology Application TEKS (K-8). 5. Collaborates with campus administration to analyze STAAR data and develop goals based on student performance. 6. Uses student achievement and other data to develop professional learning opportunities for teachers. 7. Maintains and curates a robust collection of print and electronic resources to support the curriculum, student needs, and interests following the District policies and state laws. 8. Manages the Library Learning Commons Area effectively, as shown through student and teacher data. 9. Remains current on innovative teaching methods and educational technology to continually bring new perspectives and skills into the Library Learning Commons, enriching and engaging students' learning experiences. 10. Serves as a liaison between campus and Central Office personnel for Library Services, Performance and Planning, and Instructional Technology. 11. Performs duties professionally, ethically, and responsibly as defined in the Texas Education Code of Ethics for Educators. 12. Reports to work on time every day. 13. Maintains confidentiality of information. 14. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.

- Demonstrates knowledge of current and emerging trends in technology, general curriculum, and instructional strategies Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, and detail-oriented Ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, parents, and members of the business community Ability to work collaboratively with District and school site personnel Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to communicate effectively with administrators, campus-level staff, parents, and the community Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock.
