Job Description

Lead After School Teacher

  • August 2026 school yrear. The successful candidate will plan and organize daily activities for all students that attend Gateway each day after school ends (ages Kinder
  • 4th).
This time will include homework help, games, outdoor/indoor play time, and snack time. The Lead After School Teacher must have a valid driver's license with a credible driving history. The candidate must be capable of driving a van to help transport students from a CISD school to Gateway. Upholding all policy and procedures of Gateway and State Childcare Licensing is a must. The Lead Teacher must be an organized and detailed oriented individual. They will be able to provide a fun, safe, and positive environment for up to 30 children every afternoon. They must be able to work with other adults with a cheerful disposition. This position is a Part Time position during school time but can be full time hours during summer time and school holidays.
