Middle School Theology Teacher

St. Pius X Catholic School (Norfolk, VA) has an opening for a Middle School Theology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Successful candidates will be a Catholic in good standing, foster the mission of the school, adhere to the Diocesan Consensus curriculum, create engaging lesson plans, foster critical thinking skills, implement innovative and differentiated instructional strategies, use 21st century teaching skills including digital learning, make decisions based on ongoing student data, and work collaboratively with the faculty. The candidate must be organized, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, have experience in creating and delivering successful and meaningful retreat experiences for elementary and middle school grade levels, and maintain an effective and supportive Christ-centered classroom learning environment. Theology candidates should have an appropriate degree and Diocese of Richmond Handing on the Faith certification.
