Aug 10, 2026 Job Description Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Vienna, VA is hiring qualified Teachers for our Middle School students in grades 6-8 for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning in August. Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree (education degree or related subject area preferred), and possess or be working towards VCEA or Commonwealth of Virginia teaching certification. This position requires the candidate to teach a specific subject in a core curriculum area, and supervise a homeroom of students in grades 6, 7, or 8. Candidates must demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, develop engaging, differentiated lessons with written plans, direct students in hands-on activities, and provide feedback through timely grading of submitted work and trimester report cards. Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School was established in 1957, and is a parish preschool, elementary, and middle school with over 500 students. We provide a Catholic education instilled with the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales.
