The successful candidate must be a role model who is passionate about sharing the Catholic faith, have educational preparation and experience in teaching at the middle school level to include planning lessons utilizing diocesan consensus curriculum, understanding of and experience in mastery of the relevant academic content specific to mathematics. The successful applicant must be capable of utilizing student centered instructional strategies, working collaboratively with colleagues, experienced with 21st century technology tools, and demonstrate a commitment to advance the mission of the school.

Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in an approved program general education preferred with endorsement to teach Mathematics at Middle/High School level (Pre-Algebra/Algebra/Geometry). Classroom experience minimum of 2 years preferred Computer literate and technologically proficient. Ability to communicate using electronic mail, telephone, and in person with parents and colleagues Highly organized and motivated. Must be eligible for teacher licensure in Virginia.
