Immediately Job Description Seeking a full-time Middle School English and Language Arts Teacher for Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. Sacred Heart St. Francis provides quality education and Catholic ideals in a safe, nurturing learning environment. The School of Sacred Heart Francis is a vibrant Catholic elementary school (Preschool - Grade 8) with an enrollment of 165 students. The school has a long history of educational excellence serving students in Bennington, Vermont and surrounding communities for over 130 years. Candidate must have knowledge of the subject matter; have a deep commitment to his/her faith; be skilled in planning and implementing standard-based instruction based upon need, interest, ability and learning style of individual students. The successful candidate must also be committed to Catholic education and ready to work as integral part of a collaborative team of educators. He or she must also have strong classroom management skills as well as an ability to excite students about learning.
