RMS Math Teacher Job Summary:
Rutland City Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to inspire students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong appreciation for mathematics. The successful candidate will deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student body while supporting students' social, emotional, and intellectual growth.
The successful candidate will:
Teach middle school math courses with a focus on conceptual understanding, reasoning, and real-world application. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and academic confidence. Support students' development as responsible, accomplished individuals and community members. Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve instruction and student outcomes. Rutland City Public Schools offer a competitive salary, a generous benefits package, and the opportunity to participate in the Rutland City Pension Plan in addition to the VT State Pension program. Salary range is $47,252 to $92,401 (based on the 26-27 salary schedule), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
