Middle & High School Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MS & H School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will strongly commit to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting students' academic and social development in alignment with a Biblical worldview. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, utilizing various teaching methods, and ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive in their educational journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Educate students in one or more core subjects, including Math, Science, and the Bible. Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and respectful environment conducive to learning. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Foster relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development and address any concerns. Utilize knowledge of childhood development to tailor instruction to meet individual needs. Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in education administration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in education or a related field. WA state certification is preferred but not required. 2 years of experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance classroom instruction. Excellent proofreading skills for preparing instructional materials and assessments. Understanding of childhood development principles to support diverse learners. Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
