Middle School Para

Para educator Paid 6.5 hours a day, M, T, Th, F Paid 5 hours a day, Wed The classroom para educator will assist the classroom instructor in providing a rich educational environment and creative instruction. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required. Applicant must also meet the federal qualification standards : (1) At least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent (documentation required) (2) ParaPro test must meet or exceed Washington's qualifying score of 455 OR completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education; or (3) Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or (4) Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment a) Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics; b) Internet access and ability to use school email (accommodations can be made); all onboarding is done online and district communication conducted through school email.
