Summer Program PositionTraining Days:
Tuesday-Thursday, June 30, July 1, and July 2 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm @ extracurricular rate of payHours Per Day:
Monday through Friday, July 6-24 from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm @ summer school rate of payOne hour of debriefing each day for a total of 15 hours @ extracurricular rate of payCertified Miscellaneous SalaryEXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provide direct instructional services to multi-age and multi-level Native American students. Organize appropriate instructional programs and activities within the summer program curriculum to provide for individual student differences. Be able to maintain discipline and use effective management skills. Utilize and maintain district/building curricular and student learning objectives. Maintain appropriate student records to document performance and success of Native American students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing of English. Make individual assessments of student needs. Plan and implement effective lessons and appropriate learning activities. Involve parents/guardians of Native American children in their educational program. Encourage communication between the program and school communities. Attend staff/planning meetings. Perform other duties as assigned by program coordinator or building administrator(s).SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Monetary terms as defined in the collective bargaining agreement between the district and the Spokane Education Association. Length of service is coterminous with meeting the needs of the summer school program. Current amount of pay is the Summer School Programs rate.Spokane Public Schools Certificated Contracted Employees:

Submit the on-line Certificated application and all required supporting documents as indicated in the application. Work Schedule - Days and hours (listed above) are subject to change depending on program and district needs. Stipends, Leave Accruals and Holidays - Stipends, leaves and paid holidays are in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement (https://www.spokaneschools.org/Page/314) as negotiated.Benefits Highlights:
