Are you passionate about coding and eager to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy innovators? Look no further! Join our dynamic team as a Coding Instructor for K-12 Summer Camp programs and embark on a rewarding journey of empowering young minds through the world of programming. Our summer program focuses on children ages 5-12 but we offer classes to everyone from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. We are seeking an instructor who is available to teach Robotics & Outdoor STEAM in-person camps in Tacoma for 2 weeks during the summer (the weeks of July 13 and July 27 at Seabury School). For candidates interested in additional opportunities, we also offer online half-day camps and in-person camps throughout the Greater Seattle area. Why Join Us? What You'll Do:
Lead engaging and interactive coding and STEM classes in-person at our camp locations during the summer and local schools during the school year, primarily during after-school hours in the fall or winter sessions and camps style during the summer. Utilize our comprehensive curriculum (flexible for customization) to teach a variety of coding languages, from Scratch to Python or Java. Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students, igniting their passion for technology. Foster strong relationships with fellow instructors and students, building a vibrant community of learners.
