Description:
The Instructional Innovation Coach plays a critical role in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Howard-Suamico School District, supporting the work of the district's Graduate Profile. This role focuses on empowering students as creators, leading job-embedded coaching partnerships, and aligning instructional practices with district instructional frameworks and the Graduate Profile using technology tools as a vehicle to do so. The Instructional Innovation Coach works as an instructional designer, partnering with educators to co-design authentic learning experiences that promote student agency. They lead coaching cycles to support research-based pedagogy and cultivate Solutionist Studios and library environments as creative hubs for robotics, design thinking, and literacy. By curating high-quality resources and staying at the forefront of emerging educational trends, they ensure that all students have access to equitable, innovative learning environments that prepare them for success beyond the classroom. This position is located at Meadowbrook Elementary School for grades K-4. Start date will be August 17, 2026. The Howard-Suamico School District offers highly desirable benefits as part of our total compensation package.

Leave time including 10 days of PTO eligible for potential monetary payout as well as four paid Holidays. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Licensure and certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Education. Successful completion of student teaching experience. Knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. Experience in or knowledge of: Viable candidates will have a strong literacy and math background, be willing to teach in a 1:1 iPad environment, be an active member of the school community and be able to create a positive and supportive classroom community, be organized and efficient, and to facilitate the district and school's mission to develop 21st Century Learners.
