Summer Program Teachers â€" 2 teachers, as needed, at Wirt County High School

CONTRACT

June 8, 2026

• July 16, 2026 â€" this includes up to one 8-hour prep day, up to one 8-hour closing day, and up to twenty-four 4 hour days for a total of 112 hours.

A four day per week schedule shall be determined by building principal and shall exclude WV Day, June 19, 2026, and Independence Day, July 3, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

WV Teaching Certification preference given to core secondary content Ability to analyze student data in order to provide credit recovery content Effective behavior management skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contact and schedule targeted students Must be willing to train/learn electronic platform used for credit recovery Plan, implement and assess a credit recovery program for Wirt County High School students. Maintain student data including but not limited to attendance, student progress, and credit recovery.

$30 per hour
