Job Description
Mecosta County School Section Lake Park is searching for a Seasonal Activity Planner. The park is located at 9003 90th Avenue in Mecosta, Michigan. The candidate must be excited about scheduling and leading activities for children and/or adults. Must be able to interact with adults and ask parents and/or other staff for assistance as needed.
- Position requires a general knowledge of varied arts and crafts and good imaginative skills to produce ideas for projects, programs, and activities.
- Prepare and schedule daily acitivities/programs for a week or more in advance. Share and post activity schedule with marketing staff, on information boards, and in the park office.
- Order supplies and equipment on a timely basis with approval from the HR, Events & Marketing Manager.
- Keeps arts and crafts building and surrounding area clean and maintained at all time.
- Is able to answer varied questions from children, teenagers, and adults about the park.
- Is comfortable speaking and instructing large groups using speaker/sound enhancements.
- Is flexible to change plans, recruite volunteers, and obtain parent permission slips when needed.
- Provides a friendly and efficient customer service with knowledge of park amenities, rules, and operating standards.
- Resolve guests concerns calmly and professionally.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
